Overall, the Election Day was calm and voters had a possibility to express their will in the free environment. According to information provided by GYLA observers, the violations, identified during the voting process (between 08:00 and 20:00) did not have a significant impact on the electoral process.

The voting process is mostly calm by 10:00. Majority of the electoral precincts observed by GYLA were ready on time for the first voter. Majority of those precincts were properly equipped with electoral inventory. A few violations of electoral legislation were revealed by now, which mostly relate to the casting of lots (division of functions between electoral commission members by random selection).

On October 19, 2018, GYLA has applied to the Constitutional Court with the constitutional claim on behalf of Ana Dolidze. The essences of the dispute are those norms of the Organic law ,,On the Common Courts’’, which enable judge candidates to challenge the member of the High Council of Justice due to partiality and non-objectivity.
