With GYLA’s assistance, an individual managed to register his title in public register

GYLA’s Ajara branch represented in a court N.M.’s interests, whose flat located in Batumi was registered on his name in technical registration bureau, though for failure to submit the sales agreement Batumi registration service of National Agency of Public Register refused to register the apartment.
With assistance of GYLA’s Ajara branch, N.M. appealed the decision of Batumi registration service in superior administrative agency and later in Batumi City Court. Upon decision of the same court, the lawsuit has been completely satisfied, challenged administrative acts were invalidated and Batumi Registration Service was ordered to register his title. The court fully upheld our position that Public Register was obliged to register N.M.’s title without submitting the sales agreement.

With assistance from GYLA’s Telavi office, some individuals were relieved from administrative liability

G.J. and E.A. were found guilty for violation of traffic rules and were fined. With assistance from GYLA’s Telavi office, reports of administrative offence were appealed in Telavi regional court. In both cases court invalidated appealed reports and administrative proceeding was terminated against G.J. and E.A. for absence of administrative offence.

With GYLA’s assistance, three individuals were exempted from payment of fine

Lawyer of GYLA’s Kutaisi branch protected T.G.’s G.K’s and M.S.’s interests fined upon decision of the head of Kutaisi City Hall for illegal construction.
With assistance from GYLA’s Kutaisi branch, T.G. G.K. and M.S. appealed the decision in Kutaisi City Court. Upon June 27, 2014 decision their claim was satisfied and Kutaisi City Hall was ordered to reexamine important circumstances of the case and to deliver a new decision. As a result, our beneficiaries were exempted from payment of fine on the basis of the new decision of Kutaisi City Hall.

With GYLA’s support, beneficiary was recognized as participant of hostilities for Georgia’s territorial integrity, liberty and independence

GYLA’s Kutaisi branch represented in the court G.M.’s interests who participated in hostilities in the period of January-February 1991, in Samachablo territory. Nevertheless, administrative agencies dismissed G.M.’s claim about issuing veteran’s certificate since he failed to verify the fact of his participation in military operations.

He lodged a case to Tbilisi City Court and claimed determination of the fact of his participation in hostilities in January-February 1991, in Samachablo territory. By the decision of the same court, G.M.’s claim was satisfied and he will be able to receive veteran’s certificate for participation in hostilities carried out for Georgia’s territorial integrity.

With GYLA’s assistance an individual managed to return his pension

GYLA’s Kutaisi branch represented in a court O.J.’s interests who made a credit agreement with one of the banks on February 21, 2008. By the time of making the credit agreement he had worked in the bank, though after nine months, the bank terminated labor agreement and he was dismissed from the office. Being left unemployed, O.J. failed to implement obligations of loan agreement duly and completely.

O.J. is a pensioner and he receives the state pension in the same bank where the credit was issued. For his indebtedness, the bank withheld his state pension completely since February 2014. With GYLA’s assistance O.J. applied to the court and claimed back the pension withheld by the bank, since the law prohibits deduction of the pension funds. After lodging the lawsuit to the court, the bank returned the full amount to O.J. As a result, the applicant took away the lawsuit from the court.
