GYLA condemns fact of pressure on judiciary

On December 19, 2012 it was reported on the fact of pressure on judge assistant by security officers with a view to get some information from her and receive consent on cooperation.  

GYLA speaks on the alleged signs of criminal offence in the case, and calls on law enforcement agencies to start immediate investigation on the facts mentioned by the judge assistant in her report. 

In addition, GYLA stresses that independence of the judiciary is guaranteed by the Constitution, the supreme law of the state and any influence affecting judiciary independence is impermissible.
