Lawyers from offices of GYLA in Tbilisi and Kutaisi represented women victims of domestic violence. Restraining orders were issued at their request and perpetrators were prohibited from having any kind of relationship with the victims.

GYLA’s office in Zugdidi helped a beneficiary to register his property rights

Lawyer of GYLA’s office in Zugdidi represented M.E., who had applied to Zugdidi Office of the National Agency of Public Registry, requesting specification of the borders and the area of his own property; however, Zugdidi Office decided to terminate registration proceedings. GYLA’s office in Zugdidi helped the beneficiary solve the problem – the court fully granted his claim.

GYLA’s office in Kutaisi helped a beneficiary receive compensation

With help of GYLA’s office in Kutaisi, a beneficiary who was forced to renovate a changing room of a pool in a public school will receive compensation for his work. With GYLA’s help, National Agency of State Property was ordered to pay to GYLA’s beneficiary the value of property received from unjust enrichment.

GYLA’s office in Telavi freed a beneficiary from paying an illegal fine

A sole proprietor named M.M. had been ordered to pay fine of 1000 laris based on a protocol of tax violation prepared by the monitoring department of the Revenue Service. With the help from GYLA’s office in Telavi, the beneficiary was freed from paying the illegal fine.
